Footwear of Mass Distraction

webcowgirlYep, I spent my ill-gotten Oscar gains on a pair of tap shoes I found at Value Village last night. Now all I need is a blonde wig and a sparkly dress and I can be Roxie Hart for Halloween!
My winning combination:
1. Chicago
2. Nicole Kidman
3. Jack Nicholson (just because I thought his acting was very good ... I wasn't thinking about the too-many-oscars thing)
Anyway, I got the first two right, and I was the only one who got the first two right, so I won!
The rest of the evening was kind of not very exciting ... I left work early because there was little to do. Worthy O was tired, and folding clothes even was too much for him. All he wanted to do was pet the cat. So I roused him to go to the Comet for happy hour, and we got distracted at Value Village on the way there and on the way back (thanks to the 99ยข sale on blue-tagged items). We never played cards or Carcasonne, but after we had dinner he washed dishes and I walked the dogs. I wound up reading another chapter of both Pattern Recognition and the Shakespeare's Kings book before bedtime.
Today I'm going to work on my Spain travelogue while I hope for that phone call from V***. Oh, and look online for cheap tap lessons.
