From bloom to blown

shadowdaddy is in the shower with the dremel tool, trying to make enough room between the tiles to insert grout. I've got pork chops and red beans and rice on the stove (with a little Konriko "Creole Seasoning" to peppy it all up). The dogs are sleeping, the rain is taking a break, and I need to go outside to weed and clean up. The question for the day is, who came by my house and pulled about a dozen daffodils off of their stems? They just pulled them off and threw them on the ground. I don't get it. I remember last year this happened and I thought about getting a little "24 Hour Security Cam!" just to see what the heck is going on when I'm not around. Part of me thinks it's that guy up the street who hates my guts for narcing on him about the pit bulls, part of me thinks its some dumb little kids.
Tonight we're going to see the Amsterdam Loeki Stardust Quartet, then we're going to 611 Creperie withdagmar_b (who will be at the show). Tomorrow I heard about this "Buttrock Dance Suites" that I just have to check out, so the card party is canned and this is the new hot thing for Sunday night!
