I came in this AM and my supervisor was standing next to my cube with yet another facilities person and several pieces of paper with maps of the office on them. I asked what was up, and she said that they had to move 20 people over here tomorrow, and I was going to be moving into an office that I would be sharing with someone else. Goodbye, window with view of the nature preserve and lovely sunsets. At least I get to sit with John. Too bad he didn't get the job at Solu (space inserted to confuse Google) cient. I think after digesting how the interview went and what a freak his supervisor to be would have been, he didn't mind all that much.
On the other hand, our supervisor came up to him today and asked him if he was interested in transferring to another project when this one wraps. That was before he got turned down. And of course what I'm asking myself is, why not me? Have they figured out what a fuckup I am? Maybe I shouldn't take that walk outside I was going to do today. So I didn't, and here I am, fucking off again but with a tension backache. Fie.
