Three exciting things about today (Or Three Reasons to Call Me a Big Dork)

1. The cutest boy on LiveJournal added me to his friends list.
2. I finally got some comments after MANY days with no responses.
3. Um ... I don't know, I went out to lunch and did JACK for the seven or so hours I was at work today, not including the hour and a half lunch. What the hell am I doing even sitting at this desk right now? Frying my rods and cones again? I barely even bothered reading the New York Times. What did I do all day?

Question: Any regrets about wearing big-ass flannel jammies last night?
Answer: Only the fact that my foot caught on the metal lock of the suitcase I had stored them in and STILL HURTS.

Tonight: ham dinner and Cities and Knights of Catan with my brother, Maurie, and Cathy. Yay! Then karaoke if I'm not dead by the time we finish. Tomorrow: Return to the Cinerama, two weeks after all the real fans have already seen the movie. But hey, it gets me out of work early.

This boy, ciphergoth, rrowr! Of course if he didn't provide such an excess of detail about his social life I don't think he'd put such a twinkle into my eyes. And of course living 3000 miles away makes him ever so more delicious. Geez, and his friends list is DA BOMB. That's where I got the picture of the assless dress from.

I love my friends list. Nearly everyone I know is on it now, except my family. Assless dress? I'm not sure I remember that one, can you remind me?

I clicked on the link from her blog (http://www.livejournal.com/users/voodoopussy/73047.html) while I was at work, and my first thought was "Holy Jesus! I hope no one walks past my monitor right now!" But then I thought ... what a fun thing to show someone else ... so I sent it to shadowdaddy with the note "Hey, I was thinking about getting this dress for New Year's ..." and giggled imagining his surprise. He wrote right back a message with a very large fonted "NWS!" s.o.s. message (even though I knew he liked it). Then I wound up showing it to a bunch of friends who were over for our Winterbrew/Solstice party and wanted to see what the fuss was about. It was sad to have a PARTY and have a bunch of people hovering around a computer monitor, but there they were anyway.

Actually, I've been kind of thinking about getting it ... since I do have somewhere to wear it. Unfortunately I won't be able to wear it tonight. But I'm sure it will be a hit!
