If you're dreaming of going to Europe, the SAS sale today is awesome ... in honor of the 100th anniversary of flight all of their previous sale destinations are on sale again. Only $299 (plus tax) from Seattle.

"Travelers will be able to fly to any of the 16 previously posted sale destinations, which include Copenhagen, Stockolm, Oslo, Helsinki, Stavanger, London, Amsterdam, Gothenburg, Manchester, Warsaw, Madrid, Geneva, Riga, Vilnius, Zurich and Bergen. Taxes and fees are additional. Tickets must be purchased today, December 17, by 11:59 p.m. PST. Depart January 5 through March 27 and return by March 29. A Saturday night stay is required. The maximum stay is 30 days."

Too bad I'm already so far in debt this month, and that I don't have a whole bunch of vacation sitting around to use. It would be nice to go ... at least I get to look at that cute little SAS calendar online!

Gah! I had just gotten over not being able to buy the ticket last week too. Sigh. Oh well, I don't have enough vacation saved up yet anyway. I'll make it back to Madrid, I swear. It might have to wait until next holiday season, though.

Vilnius?!

My people are from Vilnius! Aaauugghh! No job! No money. Waaaahhh....

Man, it's hard practicing the restraint.

I was up until 2 AM trying to rig it to get dates I wanted, but I decided to pass on the Madrid, since it's not really on my list for the next two years. I may change my mind in the next two hours.

Baby, let's do it! Oh crap, but I don't have any vacation time yet. To think I'm having to pass on Stavanger!

If you're really dying to go, Jan 23-Jan 29 is available, for two. I can't go, of course. If I hadn't bought the tickets to Mexico, maybe I would go.

I am currently killing myself with a January 9-18 itinerary option (this way I can rest up on MLK day, which is the 19th). Only 800 for two tickets and the flight leaves at 7 PM, so I don't even have to leave work that early.

ARGH.
