Worthy Opponent, Cathy and I were the last three people in Seattle to see Bend it Like Beckham tonight. Yeah, it was fun and feel good, definitely a good choice for $3, but it was weird that only 2 other people were in the movie theater. What do they expect, what with it coming out on video? I hope they have plans for the theater next week. I forgot that they have Spellbound at the Crest right now, too, but I don't know when I'm going to see it. Right now it's looking like Lost in Translation on Friday, La Venexiana on Saturday, and The Hobbit on Sunday. That's surely enough to keep me on my toes for the weekend. Maybe I should start it all off with a little karaoke tomorrow, though. Hmm.

Anyway, tonight I'm going to lay on another layer of polyurethane on the wood floor (yay, chemicals!) before I go to bed. Tomorrow is going to be pilates, Last Trip to Koraku (sob!), and dropping the car off for some repairs I skipped today. Phew! With luck I will be able to find some good ballroom dance shoes at that place on Alaskan - otherwise I'm putting my order in for my Roxie Hart shoes Friday!

ooh, ooh!

now that the M's season is over, Mandarin Gate won't make us wait until the end of the game...unless they're showing some other playoff game...?
