It's about the same as you'd pay for any private gym - Fitness First, which is pretty standard, charges about that. And they don't usually have a pool and so on.
Does work have any sort of assistance for stuff like this?
The club does sound about ideal for you...and $45/mo here would I think be cheap. For example: Other than the YMCA, the Seattle Athletic Club is one of the few that have a pool - $400 initiation fee and $179/mo. for two people. The Sound Mind and Body I went to in Fremont had no pool and I think was $95/mo.
