Big rock candy mountain

I saw bumblebees (fresh from their winter slumber) fussing away in the little flowering bushes behind my office building this morning. I looked up, and sparrows were bickering over nesting sites on the windowsills. It is most definitely spring!

In other news, the fridge at work got cleaned out, and I am without a lunch today! Sure, it needed to be done, but since when do they clean it out on a Monday?

Turkish delight - the hardback kind

I finally found something I've been looking for these last many months ... a book I cannot put down. It KILLED me to come into work tonight, not because I don't want to be here right now (and that's just a tester's lot in life, really), but because I had a Big Hot Juicy Novel that I had to lay down. It's Sunshine by Robin McKinley and I just started it on the bus this morning. I got into a good bit on the way home and voila, suddenly it was 7:30 and I had to figure out if I was ever getting off of the couch. I can't wait to go back home and PICK IT UP AGAIN! But I'd better not because if I'd be up until 2 AM.

Oh yeah ... and it would be SOOO GOOOOOD.
