Completely dead day at work - Udupi, Kayak, PVP, shoes

It's nice sometimes when going out to lunch is the highlight of your day. It can also be ... sad. Lunch today was probably the highlight of my work week, in no small part because the trip to Udupi Palace took almost two hours out of my day, two hours that would otherwise be painfully wasted rewriting my test documents. Bah.

With all this free time on my hand, I've discovered that I am a cartoon character - and so is my husband. I also found many, many possibilities for kayaking from Vancouver Island. And I've got a hot lead on some shoes to wear Ceili dancing if this Sunday works out well.

Crazy cartoons and my friends

My old friend Stef from Arizona materialized out of the woodwork and accompanied shadowdaddy and I to the Little Theater to see the "Strange and Vicious War Cartoons" in the Dennis Nyback Forbidden Animation series. I reviewed it here, to keep this entry short. I think I'll be going back for "Jazz Jazz Jazz Cartoons" on Tuesday and "CultOddball and Rubber Hose Toons" on Wednesday.
