That is actually quite bad but I've never heard a word like that used as an adjective/verb before.
And yes, I hate Chekov: I find his characters insufferably boring and the situations they are in uninteresting. Hopefully I'll be strong and never go see a Chekov play again but I might slip up and forget in the hope that one day I'll see one that I like .... but it hasn't happened yet.
