Rain, 45 degrees.

Asstastic. The clouds in the sky are rushing over head like the waves in the middle of the ocean, big long swells heading nowhere. It's oh-so-slightly black outside.

I'm glad I got out a bit yesterday and enjoyed the sunshine.

I did sleep until at least 10:30 and then failed to leave the room for quite a while. I consider that a win, especially when on a day like today there is so little reason to get out of the house (though I've run out of water for tea, so obviously there may be a crisis point). I've had breakfast and taken another nap. I feel lazy.

Looking forward to seeing [livejournal.com profile] shadowdaddy tomorrow.

London. Same weather as Seattle, better museums.

Yes! To the point where I didn't mind the rain this morning because I knew that at the end of the 'eurgh' would be a museum. And a damned fine one at that - everyone should go to the Science Museum and pretend that they're 9 (or so) years old again. I spent absolutely ages playing with bubbles. Bubbles!

There is a distinct lack of daytime. Brighton has been clothed in perpetual twilight and everything is kinda damp. Meh.

You ran out of water?!

I'm difficult.

I only use bottled water for tea. I drink this fancy loose leaf stuff that doesn't taste good with lime-scale-ridden London tap.

I had to buy a good water filter jug years ago because I can't stand the scale taste (or the SCUM that goes with it) even with tea bags. Its definately cheaper than bottled and effective too. Enviromentally friendly etc etc.

I have a hob top whistling kettle as well which I adore. For some odd reason lots of folk hate it (my ex in particular- I now see it as a bad omen, lol!) or, amusingly, can't work out how to use it...*blink*.
